MALGAT study

The MALGAT study investigates the prevalence of malnutrition in gastroenterological tumours and the effects of nutritional therapy.

Who can take part in the study?

Patients with a gastroenterological tumour (oesophageal carcinoma, gastric carcinoma, colorectal carcinoma, pancreatic carcinoma ) and planned surgical treatment.

Study duration:

• 1st measurement: within 4 weeks before the planned operation
• 2nd measurement: 8 weeks after measurement 1
