To find out our colleagues’ wishes and concerns, we regularly conduct employee surveys through the independent institute Great Place To Work®. Their results are assessed together with the organisation’s structural and HR measures and finally awarded. In 2026 our hospital was once again recognised as one of the best employers in Germany. In the category Best Employers: Baden-Württemberg we even came first.

Audit Beruf und Familie
Our commitment to a high level of family-friendliness has also been recognised repeatedly through various certifications under the "audit berufundfamilie". Measures already implemented include, for example, flexible working hours, childcare during the school holidays and an easier return to work after parental leave. Employees are also supported when caring for relatives.

Long-standing certificate holders who have passed through all stages and take part in continuous quality assurance in the so-called dialogue procedure are awarded a special certificate logo with a golden ribbon by the "audit berufundfamilie".
