Content
In the Hypno & Birth antenatal course, you and your partner will learn effective techniques of self-hypnosis, hypnobirthing and mental training – tools you can use specifically during the birth. Together you will find methods that suit you as a couple and strengthen you on your individual path.
The central aim of the course is for women to develop trust in their bodies – and to experience that giving birth is something they can do. Through practical exercises, you will discover what it feels like to relax deeply, to let go and to give space to your own inner strength.
In addition to many exercises you can apply directly, you will receive sound knowledge about the birth process and the first days and weeks with your baby. The relaxation techniques you learn support you not only during pregnancy and birth, but also in everyday life – especially in the intense early period after the birth.
On request, you will also receive audio files for further practice. These are suitable both for practising beforehand and as support during the birth.
The couples’ course comprises 5 evenings of 3 hours each. Partners are warmly invited to every session. When you register, a paid place is automatically reserved for your partner as well. If you would prefer to attend without a partner, please feel free to send me an e-mail: info@susanhenzler.de.
Fees
The fee for the pregnant woman is covered by the health insurance fund.
The partner fee is 180 euros (from January 2027: 200 euros). Many health insurance funds now cover part or all of the partner fee as well. Please ask your insurance fund.
Please pay the fee 2 weeks before the course starts. You will receive the necessary information by e-mail from the course leader.
Optional:
If you wish, you can also book audio files to deepen what you have learned.
These audio files are suitable both for in-depth preparation and for support during the birth.
The fee for the audio files is 29 euros.
Please indicate in the “Messages” field when registering if you would like to book the audio files as well.
Notes
The antenatal class should end at least three weeks before your estimated due date. For this course, it is also advisable for the course to end well before the due date, so that there is enough time for you to consolidate what you have learnt. Please check this on your own responsibility.
