Drug therapy

Before or after the operation, drug-based tumour therapy may be an option for you. This is carried out in the neighbouring building by our colleagues at the Praxis für interdisziplinäre Onkologie & Hämatologie or, if you have private health insurance, in our hospital via the Department of Internal Medicine. We are in close contact, and not only in our weekly tumour board. A highly specialised and dedicated team will look after you and carry out therapy in line with current standards. Thanks to supportive accompanying medication, chemotherapy, antibody therapy or anti-hormonal therapy are usually well tolerated today. Treatment-related side effects, such as the nausea that many people fear, can be significantly reduced.
