The weekly tumour board is an important and well-established part of our colorectal centre. Here, specialists from various disciplines (internal medicine, surgery, oncology, radiotherapy, pathology, human genetics and radiology) meet to discuss patients’ findings together and to determine the best possible, individually tailored treatment plan.
Collegial cooperation and respect for each other’s expertise are a matter of course. Against this background, it is ensured that the patients entrusted to us receive interdisciplinary treatment drawing on the various specialist disciplines.
The tumour board takes place every Wednesday at 16:00 at the Evangelisches Diakoniekrankenhaus.
