Pastoral care

Pastoral care

As part of the holistic treatment of body, mind and spirit, pastoral care is a particular focus of our hospital. True to the Christian promise: "When I called, you answered me; you greatly emboldened me" (Psalm 138:3), our full-time chaplaincy would like to search together with you for sources of hope.

We are there for you through:

  • visits to your room
  • confidential one-to-one conversations in a protected setting
  • arranging Catholic pastoral care here in the hospital
  • counselling sessions – also with your relatives
  • Holy Communion for the sick (Protestant and Catholic) and blessing of the sick
  • cooperation within the palliative care service
  • cooperation with the hospital's social services and discharge management
  • regular prayers and church services
  • putting you in touch with the hospice group
  • cooperation with parishes and congregations
