Your way to the Diakoniekrankenhaus Freiburg

1. Coming from the A5, take the motorway exit “Freiburg Mitte”.
2. Take the B31 towards Donaueschingen.
3. Then take the second exit towards Landwasser (Paduaallee).
4. Next, take the second exit to the left onto Elsässer Straße.
5. At the next opportunity, turn right onto Wirthstraße.
6. After approximately 100 metres, the hospital is on the right-hand side.

Directly at the entrance to Wirthstraße, on the right-hand side, is our bright and comfortable multi-storey car park (minimum width of parking spaces 2.60 m).

The charges (rates per hour or part thereof) are deliberately kept low:​​​​​​

• Monday - Friday: €1.80
• Saturday - Sunday: €1.30
• Maximum daily rate: €12.00
• Lost parking ticket: €30.00

Car park opening hours:

• Entry: Monday - Sunday from 5.00 - 22.00.
• Exit: possible 24 hours a day

The "stork parking space" (“Storchenparkplatz”) ensures a worry-free route to the delivery suite. It is always reserved and ready so that expectant parents can get straight into good hands without searching for a parking space. Once you have arrived in the delivery suite, we ask you to free the space for the next "arrival".

Take the turning after Café Carpe diak. Follow the signs to the stork parking space, which is located directly behind the Evangelisches Diakoniekrankenhaus. (See video, as of: May 2025)

Take tram line 1 towards Landwasser. Get off at the “Diakoniekrankenhaus” stop.

Coming from the city, follow the cycle path along Elsäßerstraße towards Landwasser as far as the turn-off into Wirthstraße (recognisable by the large multi-storey car park on the corner). Turn into Wirthstraße and follow it for about 100m; between the car park and the Sportklinik Freiburg you will see a footpath leading to the Diakoniekrankenhaus. Please dismount there; the bicycle racks are on the left-hand side, where you may park and lock your bicycle.
