New delivery suites

The birth of a child is a miracle. It is one of the most significant events in the life of a child and its parents. The Evangelisches Diakoniekrankenhaus Freiburg will give this special moment even more space in future: the entire delivery suite area is located in the new, modern extension building, with five new delivery rooms that combine a sense of security with medical safety at the highest level.

Care is consistently geared to the individual needs of mother and child. Particular attention is paid to the parent–child bond: immediate skin-to-skin contact after the birth, known as bonding, is actively encouraged. This gives every family the space and time to get to know each other undisturbed.

The five new delivery suites in the extension building provide the ideal foundation for this: warmly and invitingly designed and at the same time equipped with everything that modern obstetrics requires.
