We offer an information course "All about your baby" on two dates:
Part I: Baby care
Part II: Breastfeeding preparation course

Part I: Baby care
Expectant parents often have many questions about caring for their baby. Different nappy-changing methods (cloth nappies/disposable nappies), bathing and caring for your baby, tips and tricks, practical and useful advice, essential purchases, accident prevention and baby slings.

Part ll: Breastfeeding preparation course – all about breastfeeding

One session packed with information for a good and relaxed start to breastfeeding. After all, breast milk is undisputedly the best thing you can give your child. This course is intended to prepare you for the start of breastfeeding, and together we can clarify many questions and any uncertainties you may have.

Partners are always warmly invited too. They often think that the breastfeeding course might not be so interesting for them. However, since they are a great support for the new mother – always, of course, but especially in the first few days – it is wonderful if they come along to find out more as well.

Please also note that the full course fee for both dates must be paid, even if you or your companion can only attend one part. This course is a "package" of two parts and "half" courses cannot be booked!

Please let us know in the comments field whether you will be coming alone or as a couple.

The course fee is to be paid in cash at the first session.

Time:

Session Friday, 18:00-21:00
Session Saturday, 09:30-12:30

The courses may take place on Fridays as well as on Saturdays! Please check the date given when you register.
The first date is for course part 1, the second for course part 2.

Please arrive a few minutes before the course begins so that the courses can start on time

Individual participants: 60.00€
Couples: 90.00€

Some health insurance funds cover the fees.
You are welcome to check with your health insurance fund in advance.
You will receive a receipt for this purpose on the first course evening.

Registration
Registration for the parent school courses is via the website of the Diakoniekrankenhaus. After successful registration, you will receive a registration confirmation by e-mail. If you do not receive this confirmation, please check your spam folder or contact us by telephone (0761 1301654).
The confirmation e-mail also contains information about the time and room of the courses. If the course is already fully booked, registration is not possible.
After successful registration, the registration confirmation by e-mail constitutes a firm commitment of your place on the course.

Registration conditions
When registering, please check that your baby’s due date matches the registration conditions. If it does not match the relevant course conditions and you are unable to attend the course because of the birth of your baby, we reserve the right to charge the course fee. Detailed information can be found in the respective course description.

Cancellation policy:
You may withdraw from the course free of charge up to 21 days before it starts using the cancellation button in your confirmation e-mail.
Once the cancellation period has expired, the button is no longer active and free cancellation is no longer possible.
After that, payment for the course is mandatory and you will receive an invoice.

Cancellation of events
If a course is cancelled by the parent school of the Evang. Diakoniekrankenhaus for organisational reasons, the participation fee paid will be refunded in full.
If a course cannot take place owing to an insufficient number of participants, we will inform you no later than two weeks before the course is due to begin.
We reserve the right to cancel the course at short notice or to move it to an alternative date for other important reasons beyond our control (e.g. sudden illness of the course leader, force majeure). If the new date is not convenient for you, the participation fees you have already paid will be refunded.
