-This postnatal recovery course takes place without your baby-
Giving birth brings about many changes in a woman’s body. In particular, the pelvic floor has changed as a result of pregnancy and birth. To regain physical balance, the main part of the postnatal recovery courses focuses on perceiving and strengthening the pelvic floor. Exercises to strengthen the abdominal and back muscles are also offered. Every course also includes time for relaxation and massage.
You can start a postnatal recovery course 6 weeks after the birth at the earliest.
A few days before the course begins, the course leader will contact you by telephone or e-mail and give you any remaining information about the course.
The course fee is usually covered by your health insurance fund, provided you complete the course within the first nine months after the birth of your child.
I look forward to seeing you
Friederike Möhrle,
Midwife at the Diakoniekrankenhaus
Registration conditions
Registration
Registration for parent school courses is made via the website of the Diakoniekrankenhaus. After successful registration, you will receive a registration confirmation by e-mail. If you do not receive this confirmation, please check your spam folder or contact us (elternschule@diak-fr.de).
The confirmation e-mail also contains information on the time, the room and/or whether the course takes place online. If the course is already fully booked, registration is not possible.
Once registration has been completed successfully, the confirmation e-mail constitutes a firm guarantee of your place on the course.
Cancellation of events
If the course is cancelled by the parent school of the Evang. Diakoniekrankenhaus for organisational reasons, the participation fee paid will be refunded in full.
If a course cannot take place due to an insufficient number of participants, we will inform you no later than two weeks before the course begins.
We reserve the right to cancel the course at short notice or to move it to an alternative date for other important reasons beyond our control (e.g. acute illness of the instructor, force majeure). If the new date does not suit you, any participation fees you have already paid will be refunded.
Fees
The course fee is usually covered by your health insurance fund, provided you have completed the course within the first nine months after the birth of your child.
