Content

Course description:

The course supports the natural postnatal recovery process after pregnancy and birth and helps restore healthy tone to the pelvic floor, abdominal and back muscles.
The focus is on body and pelvic floor awareness, posture, strengthening the core, lots of tips and tricks about the pelvic floor and, of course, targeted exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor and trunk muscles that can easily be integrated into everyday life.
Among other approaches, we train according to the principles of Pilates, "Kraft aus der weiblichen Mitte – Ganzheitliches Beckenboden-Training" (strength from the female core – holistic pelvic floor training), BiB (Beckenboden in Bewegung – pelvic floor in motion), MOVEnART and
Eric Franklin (dynamic pelvic floor training).

You can start the postnatal recovery course no earlier than 6 weeks after a spontaneous vaginal birth and
no earlier than 8 weeks after a caesarean section. A good time to start the postnatal recovery course (without your baby) is 2 to 4–5 months after the birth.
Your health insurance fund will pay for the course if it is completed within 9 months of the birth.

In order to convey important principles for activating & strengthening the core during exercise and in everyday life, I have extended the course with the additional module "Diastasis recti and Pilates" and one extra session.
This addition is an optional service, with a one-off fee of 35 €.
