A NEW STAGE OF LIFE

Everyone has to find their way in their new role.
We would like to bring you up to date
with practical exercises and tips on the topics of
nappy changing, lifting and carrying, nutrition, baby sleep,
accident prevention, rituals, ….
The aim is to gain new insights and to understand
what young parents do differently and why.

In this course, we would like to refresh your knowledge of
infant care and inform you about the latest
findings. After all, a great deal has changed over the last 20-30
years in how we handle babies and in
parenthood.
How can you support the parents optimally and actively
and accompany them in their new role?
It is close to our hearts that, through tolerance and
respectful interaction with one another, a happy
extended family life can succeed.

Costs & duration

· 2 hours

· 30 euros per person

· 50 euros per grandparent couple

The course fee is paid on site or as a voucher

(by bank transfer to the course leader)

Registration
Registration for parent school courses is via the Diakoniekrankenhaus website. Once you have registered successfully, you will receive a registration confirmation by e-mail. If you do not receive this confirmation, please check your spam folder or contact us by telephone (0761 1301654).
The confirmation e-mail also contains information on the time and room of the courses. If the course is already fully booked, registration is not possible.
After successful registration, the confirmation e-mail constitutes a firm commitment of your place on the course.

Registration conditions
Please check the registration conditions to make sure they match your baby’s due date. If it does not match the relevant course conditions and you are unable to attend the course because of the birth of your baby, we reserve the right to charge the course fee. Detailed information can be found in the respective course description.

Withdrawal and cancellation policy
You may withdraw from the course free of charge up to 21 days before it starts using the cancellation button in your confirmation e-mail.
Once the cancellation period has expired, the button is no longer active and free cancellation is no longer possible.
After that, payment for the course is mandatory and you will receive an invoice.

Cancellation of events
If the course is cancelled by the parent school of the Evang. Diakoniekrankenhaus for organisational reasons, the participation fee paid will be refunded in full.
If a course cannot take place due to an insufficient number of participants, we will inform you no later than two weeks before the course starts.
We reserve the right to cancel the course at short notice or to move it to an alternative date for other important reasons beyond our control (e.g. acute illness of the instructor, force majeure). If the new date does not suit you, any participation fees you have already paid will be refunded.
