In all situations in which, despite our extensive expertise in minimally invasive surgery, we see the limits of this surgical technique, we perform the procedure conventionally. In the case of malignant tumours, we follow radical oncological strategies in order to achieve the greatest possible safety for you (while always also taking your quality of life into account). If an operation is necessary because of inflammatory bowel disease, it is carried out in close consultation with our gastroenterology colleagues in order to keep the necessary procedure as limited as possible.
